This exhibition of innovative textile art features works by the North London U3A Freestyle Embroidery and Textile Art Groups.
There is a wide range of textile based artwork, including an embroidered depiction of Klimt’s “Lady with Fan”, scenes from “Our Industrial Heritage”, Elephants and interpretations of Maps of the Thames.  This exhibition aims to illustrate that embroidery is Real Art.
Opening times:
Lauderdale House is open Monday, to Wednesday, some Thursdays and Fridays and most Sundays, normally 11am to 4pm
