Date/Time
Date(s) - Monday, 8 November 2021
10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Location
St Paul’s Church

Our AGM has been postponed and will be held in person at St Paul’s Church. We will commence with a talk as planned for the November monthly meeting, in which Lester Hillman will be talking about the Battle of Barnet (which took place 550 years ago this year).

The formal business of the AGM will take place immediately following the talk. The papers can be found by clicking on the items below. They are:
         Final agenda for deferred AGM
Minutes of the last AGM on 12 October 2020
         The Chair’s Report
         The Treasurer’s Report
Income and expenditure account and balance sheet
         Proposed new constitution for adoption.

In order to ensure adequate social distancing at the meeting, we need to know who wishes to attend in advance. Please let us know at meetings@nlu3a.org.uk or in writing to the Business Secretary at 30 Connaught Gardens, London N10 3LB by 3 November 2021 if you will be attending.

We hope there will be a good turnout because it is the one occasion in the year when the future of the organisation and how it is run can be decided. There will not be any provision for proxy votes this year as these are not included in the current constitution. (They were allowed last year because of the special dispensation by the Charity Commission for online meetings; they will also be allowed in future years if the proposed new constitution is adopted.)

In order to save printing costs, the papers are being circulated online, except for members without email. There will not be a supply of papers at the meeting, so if you wish to have them to hand during the meeting, please print them out and bring them with you.
